So before the power went out, I played a couple of sngs and couldn't finish because the connection to UB was awful. I kept disconnecting and reconnecting, missing hands like crazy, and just generally having a bad time. Then the power went out for a few days. Thankfully it's back now. I picked up a copy of "The Theory of Poker" by David Sklansky, so I might play a sng or two then go read for the night. Back tomorrowish hopefully!

Well, with all the snow we're getting here in upstate NY, we may be losing power. My girlfriend's sister already hasn't had power for 2 days and our lights are starting to fade in and out. I'll put something up when I get back in case this situation arises.

So after tonights foray, I'm down. Was playing 20c+4c sngs and I couldn't get any sort of focus. It didn't help no cards came that were remotely playable, save for the pocket 10s I had vs aces, but that's how it goes sometimes. I'll be waiting for sometime it's nice and quiet to try this again, where I can think clearly and make good decisions instead of getting up all the time or being distracted. Cest la vie! Tomorrow is another day.

So I'm starting a blog so people can follow my progress on building a bankroll from nothing. The other day, I recieved an email from UB telling me I have $10 free for no reason at all. I'll be working on making something out of it, or losing it. I figure blogging about this will be a decent experience because only one or two things will come of it. Either I'll make a lot of money and look like I really know what I'm doing, or I'll bust out. And if I bust out, I look like an idiot. Thankfully, there's lots of idiots on the internet so I won't be alone. I'll probably be starting this adventure later on tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned, or not.
